I'm Really Happy/Excited Because....

I am really excited because i was just a bar with two of my friends, and before we went in two guys came up to us and asked us if we knew where there were any good bars (we were walking down a pretty busy street), so we told them to follow us. they were both kinda nerdy looking, but the one was really cute with longish curly brown hair and really nice eyes and a nice chin (i know that's weird, but it was attractive). So they came to the bar with us, and we invited them to sit with us, and I ended up giving the cute guy my card, because he was actually showing interest in me. haha, i've never given a guy my card before. I've only ever used it for professional purposes, so it was kinda nerve racking giving it to him. But I'm pretty sure he's going to call me. Crossing my fingers.

Aww cute. Well you'll have to let us know how it goes.


I'm excited because my Warped date is TOMORROW!!! So freakin' excited. But also totally freaked out because I have my two exams on Saturday and so today is my last day to study and I really don't know anything yet. This is why I have not been on lately. That combined with the fact for the past like three weeks I've been on vacation lol. It's my own damn fault. Those first two weeks I should have been studying but I didn't so I've been cramming for the past 3 days. Ya that's right. Cramming for two exams in 4 days. Great idea. I just have to get a decent mark.

But WARPED is tomorrow. Frigg I can't wait. A Day To Remember, Escape The Fate, Senses Fail, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Silverstein, Breathe Carolina, 3OH!3 ... it's going to be fantastic!

Aw, have fun at Warped today!!!! I'm sure it will be a fantastic time. You'll have to write all about it, because i missed it this year.

I did end up going on a date last night with attractive chin guy (whose name is actually Colin). We really hit it off and ended up having an amazing time. Unfortunately he lives in North Carolina right now, but is looking for jobs in this area because he has family here. He was going to head back home today, but we had such a great time, that he decided to stay in the area for a little while longer, since he has no commitments to get back to in North Carolina right now. So we're going out again tomorrow night.

Date number two with Colin was a success. We have so much in common. Plus, he's nice, intelligent, has a sense of humor, and is really cute (6'1", brown curly hair, blue eyes, nice body, etc). And he's 26, which is nice because with the maturity differences between girls and guys, it means that this is actually a guy who is as mature as I am. He leaves to visit family at the end of the week,and then he's heading home, but hopefully he'll be back soon for job interviews and such.

Ooooh I'm excited for you. He sounds perfect. I hope things work out.

I will give you all the low down on Warped but you'll have to wait. I'm writing up an uber detailed report for my friend who bought me the ticket and who is in Europe right now. After I'm done that I'll take out the unnecessary info and post it for you.

I'm super happy/excited because I'm finished summer classes!!! Omg I'm never been so relieved in my life. After I finished I went and watched The Ugly Truth which I thought was absolutely hilarious. And then I decided that I had more energy that I initially thought since I had just gotten my ass kicked by two exams. So I walked home from the theater. Which is pretty far. It took me an hour and a half. lol. But it felt really good cause I had pretty much sat on my ass for four days straight studying. Then yesterday I did a huge clean of my house which I feel really good about. Then today I stressed myself out again. I was supposed to wake up at 8 to register for this course I wanted to get into. BUT I forgot to set my alarm and realized at like 9:45 that I had forgotten. So of course it's full. I start freaking out because I have no other course that I want to take. I wrote an email pretty much begging to get into the class and then stressed out for an hour trying to find another course, which again there was nothing, especially since everything is full now. Then I got an email back saying I was registered! Omg I am sooooooooo happy. So everything is good again and I think I'm going to go shower and look for another job.

awww, that's awesome about your course, KAZ, and Congrats on living through your summer courses.

I can't stop smiling for two reasons:

1.) Andrew De Torres is going to be in Philadelphia on Thursday. Totally going to go meet him

2.) Last night, though this is kinda sad, The Matches did a video farewell chat. Fans were in a chatroom asking questions and they were live videoing they answers. My question was the first one to get answered ("Shawn, did you contact Thomas about Razia's Shadow or vice versa/Did you pick your part or were you placed in it") and then he like ranted about Razia's for a couple minute. They played a couple of acoustic songs, and then I jokingly asked if "Dylan would please marry me" and the girl read off the question ("Dylan, Danielle wants to know if you'll marry her"). He accepted and told me "[he'd] love to". Then Shawn proposed a group marriage. Thumbs up for the Matches!

DANIELLE I AM JEALOUS. I HAVE HAD A HUGE FANGIRL CRUSH ON ANDREW FOR YEARS. rhgoiuwhgfoarbgha but have fun!

I'm happy because tomorrow at school we start recreational sports for PE, and I'm going to the gym with a bunch of my friends. This is weird but I'm looking forward to the gym cause we're going every week and we're all going to get fit together haha. I'm also on a diet at the moment so hopefully I'll be losing some excess weight before my school formal (prom) in a couple of months. Oh and on that topic I'm going shopping for formal dresses on the weekend with my mum!

Sam, that sounds great about gym plan with your friends. I loved shopping for Prom dresses. That is so much fun. You'll have to post a picture of what you pick out.

Kaz, that is so great about being finished with classes. I love that feeling. And that's awesome that they registered you for the course even though it was full.

I am sad because Colin is leaving this morning to go home However, he invited me down to Raleigh, NC to visit him in September (or whenever I want to go). I've researched flight costs, and it'll only cost a little over $100 round trip. And when I go, he's going to take me to the Outer Banks, which are the really beautiful beaches there, and we're going to stay at the beach for a few days.

Luckily I only have classes on Monday and Wednesday, so if I can get off of work one weekend we can have a long Thursday - Sunday weekened. What would be even better would be if I could get off on Labor Day weekend and then I could go from Thursday to the following Tuesday. I am soooo excited about it.

Danielle, that's so cute! I think that's a really cool idea that they did that and that's really great that you were the first question and that they wanted to marry you. lol.

Sam, I loved Prom. I too definitely want to see a pic of this dress once you find it. Oooh, I just want you to make sure you enjoy this kinda stuff, prom, etc. Cause when you look back you want to be able to think that you made the most of it.

Aurora, omg that is so awesome. Oooh I'm so excited for you. A long weekend on a beautiful beach with a sweet boy ... doesn't get much better than that.


I myself am in a bit of a rut right now but I know things will be better once school starts again in September (That's horrible isn't it? I can't wait to go back to school =P). Anyway, September = Alana coming back from Europe, new roommates (who have very hot, athletic friends, lol), new classes (so again, meet new people, as well as I'm excited for my classes), and just a new schedule in general. I'm also happy because I had a pretty good interview with American Apparel and so I could possibly start working there as well which I think would be pretty fun and I'd actually be working with people my age. I'm also going to the football game tomorrow night with my parents and so that will be fun.

I am so happy! I just booked my flight to North Carolina to see my guy. I'm leaving Thursday morning, we're going to spend a few (probably 2) nights in the Outer Banks, and then we're going to most likely stay at his place on Saturday night and I'm flying out on Sunday afternoon and coming back home. It'll be a short trip, but we're going to pack a whole bunch of stuff into it. I'm just really excited to see him, and to travel. I really miss him.... But hey, it's only 2 1/2 weeks away!

p.s. i don't like that whenever you make a sad face on here it gives it tears. like, i miss him, but i'm not bawling my eyes out over it... weird.

HAHA! Ya I totally didn't even really notice until you said that. Yes, I do not imagine you sitting there bawling your eyes out lol. But that is all very fantastic Aurora. I'm so happy for you.

And speaking of boys I just found one myself. We've only been on one date but we're having lunch later today as well. He's 26 and he's a police officer. The other night we just went to a little neighbourhood pub and talked and I had a really good time. Here's hoping.

Aw, Kyrstn... that's great! I hope your lunch went well. I think that as long as you had fun on the first date, you're good to go. That is so exciting! You'll have to let us know how things progress.

We didn't end up having lunch but we went out last night. I'm not going to post about how it went because it was kinda a disaster. Not a disaster as in I'm not going to see him again but still a bit disasterous lol. He's going to phone me tonight after I get off work so we'll see what happens lol.

... in two days i'll be in the outer banks. well, actually i'll be driving to the outer banks from the raleigh airport. more like HE will be driving. but whatever... two days!!!!!!!!!!

I start work tonight. I'm only excited because I'm making money for my expensive habit of going to concerts all the time.

and I've perfected my cats "fetching" skills. When I throw him a piece of balled up paper, he brings it back to me in his mouth and now even lays it in my hand!

hahahahaha our cat is ridiculous.

On Sunday night my roommates and I had a party and it was fantastic! One of my new roommates moved in last wednesday and the other just moved in Sunday afternoon. So it was a welcoming party for them/end of summer/last bash before school starts party. lol. Anyway, I absolutely love those boys and I am very excited to be living with them. It's going to be amazing.

Also school "officially" started today. I put it in quotes because there are no classes today. Classes actually start tomorrow. But I went up to campus today and paid tuition and bought books. I also signed up for a pilates class so I'm really excited for that. I'm excited to start my classes. It's my last year and I'm really happy with the classes I picked.

that's exciting, kyrstn. it's my last year of school too, and my last semester of classes (my spring semester will consist of a 12 credit internship). however, i'm not as excited about my classes because they're all reading and writing intensive.

haha ya, I say this now and in two weeks I'll be cursing my classes. lol. I'm also excited because one of my new roomies and I have a class together. I'm excited to have a built in study buddy lol.
